For the past 8 years, Dance Dimension has been such an important part of my daughter Brooklyn’s life, and truly, our family’s life as well. She started as a tiny tot, just learning the basics, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow not only into a strong, confident dancer, but into an incredible young person. What makes Dance Dimension so special is that it’s about so much more than dance. It’s about building confidence, discipline, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Brooklyn has developed skills on the dance floor, but more importantly, she’s developed life skills that will stay with her forever. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been seeing her come full circle. She’s gone from being one of the youngest dancers in the room to now helping teach and mentor the next generation. Watching her guide younger dancers with patience, encouragement, and pride has been incredibly meaningful as a parent. The impact Dance Dimension has had on Brooklyn’s development as both a dancer and a person cannot be overstated. The environment, the coaches, and the culture have helped shape her into someone who is confident, hardworking, and supportive of others. We joined dance dimensions at the recommendation of a friend. My son was struggling with his self confidence and he was showing anxiety around trying new things. We signed him up for the musical so that he could find a way to express himself. In just a short time I have seen him come out of his shell and he went from being apprehensive on Fridays to excited and outgoing. Mya has been attending DDS for the past three years, and it has truly been such a special part of her life. She absolutely loves everything about it—the incredible staff, the supportive environment, and the small, family-like atmosphere that makes every dancer feel valued. Mrs. Laurie and her family are truly the best—she, along with her daughters and husband, run the studio with so much care, dedication, and heart, and it really shows in everything they do. Dance Dimension Studio is run by a beautiful family that has created a community of support and love of arts. Our son, Asher has been part of their multiple programs of dance, theater and acro.
